Position Overview
A well-established, nonprofit community health organization is seeking a Psychiatrist (MD/DO) to join its integrated behavioral health team. This outpatient role offers the opportunity to provide high-quality psychiatric care within a collaborative, mission-driven environment serving diverse and underserved populations.
The Psychiatrist will be responsible for conducting psychiatric evaluations, diagnosing mental health conditions, and providing ongoing medication management while working closely with primary care and behavioral health professionals.
Key Responsibilities

Perform comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and assessments

Diagnose and treat mental health disorders using evidence-based practices

Provide medication management and follow-up psychiatric care

Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to support integrated treatment plans

Document clinical encounters accurately and efficiently within the EHR

Adhere to all applicable state, federal, and organizational policies and regulations

Deliver culturally responsive care to a diverse patient population

MD or DO from an accredited medical school

Completion of an ACGME-accredited Psychiatry residency

Board Eligible or Board Certified in Psychiatry

Active California Medical License (or ability to obtain)

DEA license (or ability to obtain)

Prior experience in outpatient, community health, or integrated care settings preferred

Bilingual skills (Spanish, Cantonese, Mandarin, or Vietnamese) preferred but not required
