We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Human Resource Manager to join our team and lead the HR function in supporting our dedicated workforce.
Position Overview:
The Human Resource Manager will play a critical role in managing the full spectrum of HR activities within the organization. This position will focus on driving employee engagement, managing employee relations, ensuring compliance with labor laws, and supporting the overall growth and development of our team, all within the context of our commitment to serving the elderly community.
Key Responsibilities:
Employee Relations:
- Act as a point of contact for employees, providing guidance and support on HR-related issues.
- Foster a positive work environment by addressing employee concerns and resolving conflicts.
- Lead initiatives to improve employee engagement, morale, and retention, particularly within the context of eldercare services
Recruitment & Onboarding:
- Oversee the recruitment process, including job postings, interviewing, and selection.
- Manage onboarding and orientation processes to ensure new hires are effectively integrated into the company and understand the unique needs of the elderly population we serve.
Performance Management:
- Develop and implement performance management processes, including performance reviews and goal setting.
- Provide coaching and support to managers in managing employee performance, with a focus on delivering high-quality care and services to the elderly.
Policy Development & Compliance:
- Ensure the company’s HR policies are up-to-date and compliant with local, state, and federal regulations, especially those related to eldercare.
- Provide guidance on employment law and company policies to management and staff.
Training & Development:
- Identify training needs and coordinate professional development programs, particularly those that enhance skills in working with the elderly.
- Support career development initiatives to enhance employee skills and capabilities.
HR Administration:
- Oversee HR administrative tasks such as maintaining employee records, benefits administration, and payroll.
- Manage HR metrics and reporting to support decision-making.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- years of experience in HR management or a similar role, preferably within the healthcare or eldercare industry.
- Strong knowledge of labor laws and HR best practices.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
- Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, etc., Required
